Are we really ready for this?

Are you ready for more of Posh the actress? Seems she's just been wetting her appetite with 'Ugly Betty' and the video tribute to Tom Cruise on Oprah last week, now she's got her eyes on a bigger bit part.

Tom Cruise seemed to like Posh's acting enough to offer her a cameo on his 'Hardy Boys/Men' movie. She's taking over the world, better watch out.

Maybe even better for Mrs. Becks is the possibility that there may be a designing job on the movie and she may get to make some duds for the film. Her clothing designer dream is not dead yet, congrats.

Tom Cruise enters the new millenium

Well it only took 25 years and about 100 listings on IMDB for Tom Cruise to enter 2008. Who knew, but it seems Tom Cruise didn't officially have a website. Damn, who the hell have I been paying dues to all these years? But that has now changed. Tom finally (I guess you could say) has an official Tom Cruise home on the web, a place for all us mere minions to gaze upon the greatness that is Tom. It's awe inspiring, honest. I perused the whole site and it got me reminiscing about the old days when Tom was just a good looking guy that made me lust for Navy pilots. No Katie, no couch jumping, no Scientology, the good old days.

I'm just curious who owned tomcruise.com before Tom Cruise owned it. There had to have been some fan club or something that owned it. They're probably giggling madly and rolling around in mounds of money now after having sold the domain name. I want that kind of luck. Gonna go see if SuriCruise.com is taken, maybe I can send my kids to college without relying on Google Adsense and lottery tickets.

I want to stab you in the eyeball

This look really scares me. I'm thinking there was a similar look on Lorena Bobbitt's face before the infamous penis chopping incident. Tom better watch his back or front or in between.

Tom's the sexy one for once

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes attended the Costume Institute gala last night along with every other halfway famous celeb. I'm actually getting to a point where I can look at Tom Cruise without wanting to punch him in the face and I think he actually looked handsome and normal in this picture, albeit a little short and squinty eyed.

Katie on the other hand I think looks beautiful if only it wasn't for the dress. I remember dressing my Barbies when I was a kid in hand-made dresses made of everything from rubber gloves to napkins to washcloths. This dress sort of reminds me of one of those concoctions from my younger years. I also remember a show on HBO, I think it was Real Sex, that did a story on paint-on-latex outfits. This dress reminds me of one of those latex outfits on the top and some childhood Barbie invention on the bottom. Odd...not offensive, just odd. I wont even get started on the blue shoes.

Cancer stops Tom in his tracks

Mother of cancer patient, Grace Ogorman, 1, paparazzi 0.

Grace O'gorman has stage IV neuroblastoma and her mum did something the paps have never been able to do, she quieted the flash bulbs and questions and had an audience with Tom Cruise.

On the way into their New York hotel Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were approached by the mother of little Grace and as she gave the account of her daughter's illness all the paparazzi stopped talking and time actually seemed to stand still for a moment. It's actually pretty interesting to see. Tom took down the little girl's website address and so hopefully he will be donating big.

Oprah held captive, interview on Friday

Has anyone seen Oprah since her interview with Tom Cruise was filmed because she seriously looks like a captive trying to look happy for the cameras. I swear I can see the pleading in her eyes, "help me, somebody please help me."

Oprah has decided to brave the Tom hurricane and have another interview with him which will air on Friday but is a special two-parter so we will actually be graced by Tom's presence on Friday and Monday. Luckily this time part of the interview was taped at Tom's home in Telluride, Colorado where hopefully his handlers were able to keep him firmly seated. The second part will be shot in Oprah's studio in Chicago where god only knows anything can happen. You know my Tivo will be tuned in.
