Hey, another one got a job. It gives me hope for the economy that so many celebs are gainfully employed these days.
Joey Lawrence enjoyed his stent on third season's 'Dancing with the Stars' so much that he's taken a job over at TLC to host 'Master of Dance', the latest addition to TV dancing. The only difference is this one sounds fun or funny or both.
Halfway through a contestant's dance the powers that be switch can switch the music which would force the dancer to go with the flow or lose. If they can prove they're the best dancer then they will win $50,000.
Apparently Dog (as in the bounty hunter) is no longer grounded, the bad boy. After his boohoo I-did-wrong tour last year after saying some naughty, naughty things about his son's girlfriend, Dog was taken off the air over on A&E, but apparently he's paid his dues, kissed enough ass, and now they're putting the show back on the air. Criminals beware, the cameras are coming.
(FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS) — A&E has announced that Dog the Bounty Hunter will be back this summer for a fifth season. The popular cable reality show was pulled from the air last November, following in an incident in which its star, Hawaii-based bounty hunter Duane ''Dog'' Chapman, used a racial slur in a taped telephone conversation. But on Wednesday, Chapman was flanked by his family and a civil rights organization representative when A&E announced his comeback in a carefully orchestrated press conference. Said A&E spokesman Michael Feeney, ''It's not about ratings.... We know his heart. We know him and know he's not a racist.'' New episodes, including some from the show's fourth season that have yet to be aired, are expected to be ready after June 25. {Entertainment Weekly}
Spanking finished, let the crime fighting commence.
So the new trailer for Living Lohan has been released and it looks like it's going to be a bumpy ride. Love her or hate her (meaning Momma Lohan) the promo says, I know which side I'm on.
I'm so going to watch this, really I am, just because I love shows where I can bitch outloud and be justified in doing so. Mark your calendars for Memorial Day weekend. It should be fun or tasteless or both.
Heather Mills can't seem to get the hell out of the public eye. If I was one of the most hated women in the UK and possibly everywhere else, I think I'd take a break and go spend some of my "hard earned" money. But obviously Heather Mills doesn't think like I do and would rather spend her time in front of the cameras being booed and hated even more...crazy broad.
She's danced, she's judged a beauty contest, and now she may take a shot at being an apprentice. Access Hollywood is reporting that Mills has been approached to appear on next season's Celebrity Apprentice. Heather hasn't decided if she will do it or not. My guess is she will, my vote is she shouldn't.
The most infamous car crasher around (that isn't Nick Hogan) has gotten himself a new TV show.
Actor and funny man, Eddie Griffin, has had his reality show, Eddie Griffin: Going for Broke, picked up for VH1. It's to be about Griffin and his life of trying to be famous and a family man at the same time. Seems everyone has a show anymore. I have a pretty interesting life, I deserve a show dammit.
Griffin's show will be produced by the same company behind A&E's Gene Simmons reality show, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels. VH1 has ordered eight episodes of the Griffin series.
So I guess all you die hard J.Lo fans out there will be sorely disappointed, but word is now that there isn't a TV reality show in the works featuring the Lopez-Anthony's. Awww, too bad.
“You heard it here first. There is no reality show at all. We would not have camera’s in our house,” J.Lo told Access at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala Monday night. “It’s just not our thing. That might be fine for other people, but not for us.”
Maybe the money wasn't right or maybe she just had second thoughts about having her home invaded by cameras, who knows. But don't fret, J.mom also says that a reality show about her perfume could be a possibility. totally scentilating I'm thinking.
“I was talking about doing a show with TLC about the making of a fragrance,” J.Lo told Access.
So Dancing with the stars is a very sex-filled show, at least off screen. Seems like they're always hooking up over there. So what happened when de la Fuente dropped his partner? My thoughts are he was one of the few who WASN'T getting any good old fashioned partner lovin' and was having to do the dirty business himself and pulled a muscle doing that. Any thoughts? Or I guess it could be from lack of nookie, that's always a possibility too, although being that it's DWTS I highly doubt it. In any case, I'm thinking it was some sort of sex-related accident.
Over at ET they say: "Dancing with the Stars" contestant CRISTIAN DE LA FUENTE pulled a muscle in his arm during Monday night's performance show. The program cut to commercial immediately and de la Fuente was later taken to the hospital in an ambulance for further treatment.
My vote is still some sort of horizontal mambo incident but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Update: Via TMZSpies at "Dancing with the Stars" tell TMZ Cristian de la Fuente suffered a really gnarly injury and will likely pull out of the competition. The spies say surgery is now a real option. He's set to see a specialist this morning. We're told the producers and dancers will meet at the CBS lot -- where the show is taped -- at 10:00 AM for a status update.
Oh the shame. First "Survivor", then "The Hills," and now the Discovery Channel darling "The Deadliest Catch" has been caught beefing up some scenes and maybe making it a bit scarier than it probably needed to be, not that 20+ foot high waves aren't scary enough, but still. Who would have ever thought that a reality show wouldn't be completely real, hmmm.
Seems those producers at TDC had some pretty good footage of the Alaskan crab fishing boat the Wizard springing a leak back on September 26. Well that wasn't interesting enough so they had a little footage of huge waves from October 1 and 2 so figured why not throw it all together, mix it all up, and BAM a show. But wait, there may have been some more footage that would give it that extra oomph so they may have went back and added some more footage from another day, although this is not 100% clear. Here's the real corker, they may have even used re-enactments, take that reality.
I'm shocked people. A rough draft of the idea was actually obtained by The Hollywood Reporter (original article). Something's a little fishy here I think.
A preview of The Deadliest Catch, at least the waves aren't fake.
