Do you have the right stuff to be a bunny?

Playboy is celebrating their 55th anniversary by going high tech. This year they are searching for their newest bunny via YouTube. How progressive. They have asked that all applicants upload a video for their consideration. They do ask that the women be young, my vote is that they should go for the older set, the 50+ year set to celebrate 55 years in business. It only seems fair.

Mel Gibson is doing what with Britney?

Is this April Fools Day or a full moon or something? Things are getting weird y'all. Seems Britney Spears and Mel Gibson are cozier than we knew they were and they've taken off on a vacation to Mel's Costa Rica home and will be back early next week. Say what? Really? Girl's got friends in odd places.

Okay, it's not as bad as it sounds, her dad and Mel's wife will be there, but still, odd.

Parents, please keep track of your kids

How in the world do you forget your kid at the airport? I'm amazed at the density of people sometimes. The biggest issue I have with this news story is that the parents didn't realize they had left their 2-year-old child back at the airport until someone called to inform them. Why is there not a license or something you have to have before you can have kids? Rest of the story here.

Tori, Dead dad reborn?

I'm all for reincarnation, it's a wonderful thought, but maybe telling the world you think your son may be your dead father reborn is going a little far me thinks.

Tori Spelling, who is pregnant with her second child, has said that her son, Liam, reminds her a lot of her late dad and thinks the tot may have a lot of the TV mogul in him. She says, "We conceived right after my dad passed and it was a little boy."We look at him sometimes, like, ‘Oh, my dad.’ I think he has so much of my dad in him… Every time I look at him, I see my dad."

I'm sorry but that's called family resemblance, not reincarnation, but hey, to each their own.

Do they seriously have nothing better to do?

A 'Dr. Who' fan created knitting patterns for the programme’s monsters and gave them away online has been told by the BBC to stop or be sued. WTF?

The 26-year-old woman, who uses the name Mazzmatazz because she does not want to be identified, said that she was “just an ordinary person who likes knitting” who had been caught up in “a bit of whirlwind”. Lawyers argue that her case shows that trademark and copyright law should be changed.

However, the BBC says it is defending its own trademark, although it has no intention of producing knitted Doctor Who baddies, in threats that are reminiscent of KFC’s attempt to sue a Yorkshire pub for offering a “Family Feast” menu. KFC dropped the action after an outcry a year ago.

Sheesh, what's next? It's as bad as Donald Trump trying to trademark "You're fired." I thought imitation was the sincerest form of flattery. Chill Dr. Who bigwigs, go make your show and leave the little people alone.

Miley and John making beautiful music?

More odd Miley news for your daily consumption...

John Travolta and Miley Cyrus are both doing voices in the new Disney movie "Bolt" which is due out this fall, but now they may be doing a little more than cutesy voices, they may be singing together.

I'm almost cringeing. Does John Travolta actually sing? I guess they can do anything with computers these days.

Travolta's wife, Kelly Preston, told reporters at the Step Up Women’s Network’s Inspiration Awards luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel that Miley and the Travolta fam-damly are all best buds and that John may soon be cutting some songs with Miley. Hmmm, Scientology orientation perhaps?

I don't understand all this Miley backing, first Hugh Hefner and now John Travolta. When did Hannah Montana become popular with all the old fogies?

Miley taking it off?

Well it was only a matter of time, but Hugh Hefner has weighed in on the whole Miley Cyrus photo crap. His take? Come pose for us.

The Playboy head honcho says he’d be more than willing to feature the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star in his publication....when she’s of age of course.

“Sure, she’d be welcomed in the magazine,” he tells Extra. “Very pretty lady.”

It's all a bit too creepy for my taste, but I do have to say that the Hef says it better than anyone I've heard so far. “I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality,” he says.

Hopefully Miley will never take that route but I guess it's always good to have support in odd places.

$10,000 reward

So, seen any flying pigs lately? One with the word "Obama" written on it? If you have you could collect a $10,000 reward. Hint, it's huge, it's pink, it's inflatable and it was last seen floating somewhere over the California desert. For $10,000 bucks it seems almost worth driving over to look for it me thinks.

Seems the ginormous blowup piggly wiggly was let loose into the night sky during Roger Waters' set on Sunday at the Coachella music festival and they really want it back.

The festival is offering a $10,000 reward plus four Coachella tickets for life for the safe return of the pig, according to spokeswoman Marcee Rondan.

As tall as a two-story house and as wide as two school buses, the pig was led from lines held on the ground Sunday as Waters played a version of
Pink Floyd's "Pigs" from the 1977 album "Animals." Then it just floated away, which wasn't part of the show but would have been cool to have seen.

Never fear if you're concerned about safety, it's a big pig full of air and will become less of a hazard as it loses it's fluffiness.

So if you're driving around the California desert and see a big pink pig flying through the sky, don't call your psychiatrist, call Coachella.
