My almost 8-year-old son came up to me yesterday and started to describe a movie he wanted to see. I half-ass listened because movies he wants to see usually involve three things, Dragons, ninjas or Nickelodeon, none of which thrill me too much. After listening a bit I realized he was talking about Indiana Jones. Not Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers or Sponge Bob or anything like that, Indiana Jones!!! Seriously that excited me. I love the fact that Harrison Ford has played this character for like ever. I remember my mom watching it when I was a kid, and then I loved The Last Crusade as a young adult, and now my son wants to see the Crystal Skull. I mean how totally cool is that that a movie character could be relevant for 24 years and still played by the same guy and he could still actually be hot in a dad sort of way. Only in Hollywood, I swear.
