Wow, Barbara's making enemies

All this time I was under the impression that Barbara Walters was this self-composed, everybody's friend, grandma type. Boy was I wrong. She writes a book and now she's tellin' all and not everyone's happy.

First she opened up about an affair with a married senator, then she talked about Rosie O'Donnell's "personal issues" and Star Jones' "secret" gastric bypass. Seems she's trying to rid herself of a few pesky friends. Who needs stinkin' friends when you're Barbara Walters....apparently not Barbara Walters.

Tsk, tsk, tsk Barbara Walters has a secret that she's finally decided to reveal to another interviewing diva, Oprah Winfrey. Walters revealed in the interview that is scheduled to air on Tuesday that in the 1970s she had a multi-year affair with married U.S. Senator Edward Brooke, the first African American elected by popular vote to the U.S. Senate. Wow, you go girl, who'd have thunk it.

Barbara tells Winfrey, "I was certainly infatuated ... It was exciting times in
Washington."

Yeah, sex with married men usually makes things pretty exciting. I swear I'll never look at my grandma the same again.
