Jessica Alba decided to drop into trendy maternity boutique A Pea in the Pod in Beverly Hills on April 14 for a little I'm-having-a-munchkin retail therapy.
Okay, Jessica is only 7 months pregnant? Hasn't she been pregnant like forever? I had to Google it to make sure I was reading right and yeah, she's not due until June or so. How is that possible? It's odd how sometimes celebrities get pregnant and then it seems like the next week they are popping a kid out. Like Cate Blanchett for example. It seems like a month or two ago she announced she was pregnant and then she sort of disappeared and then wham bam it's a baby mam, she had a baby. I like that.
Then there are the celebrities who get pregnant and are pregnant and pregnant and pregnant for what seems like forever. I don't know if it's because of all the false "she's pregnant" headlines or what, but it's annoying. Nicole Kidman is going to be one of those, she's going to be pregnant f-o-r-e-v-e-r, and Ashley Simpson, God help us all, that girl is going to be pregnant for the next 24 months I swear.
Okay, done stating my celebrity pregnancy pet peeves. Now back to A Pea in the Pod. I'm telling you, maternity clothes have come a long, long way since I was pregnant 7 and 9 years ago. Well okay, maybe they haven't changed that much, maybe I was just cheap and they didn't carry this kind of stuff in Walmart.
